I was wondering if anyone had actually been on a cruise from Security Travel USA? I won a supposed "free" cruise from Security Travel USA and have had to pay a lot of fees. We get together once a month for a dinner or cookout to promote unity and stay in touch. We are southern people and some of us are weary of travelling by water but since I went and came back safely, they are willing to give it try. The cruise I went on was a high school class reunion. First Cruise to Mexico with a 13 year old? Travel agent needed or not? I am planning a cruise with my daughter, who will be 13 at the time of travel. I saw a nice 4 day cruise from New Orleans port to one destination at Cozumel Mexico. Then back to the port. This will be my first time on a cruise and out of the states. Can I book an Alaskan cruise through a Canadian Travel agent to go on during a trip to Van, but live in UK? Cruise/Travel Commercial Song? I'm trying to figure out what song was used in this commercial about some cruise or travel. I think there were scenes of beaches, ocean, islands, waterfalls. The commercial starts with the song showing the scenes, and towards the end makes the pitchline. The song was very happy and celebratory, almost sounded like island music with female vocals singing, "Yay yeahhhh oh oh yayee yayee" for the chorus and a full blast of the sound of woodwind instruments tooting. I heard the full version of the song on a bus, and the female vocalization aside from the chorus isn't that great or smooth. She actually sounds off key as if her voice is cracking. The commercial is kind of old. It's driving me nuts to figure this one out!

Advice for cruise travel with young children? We've already booked a cruise on Norwiegan Cruise Lines to the Mexican Riviera. We're taking our 21 month old and almost 5 year old kids with us. We'll have extended family with us to help out as well. I'm trying to think of everything we'll need and I'm sure there will be things that I can't come up with on my own. Any suggestions? I've already bought the cloth swim diapers (they don't allow the disposable kind). I have water shoes for both kids. We have a brand new bottle of sunblock. We'll obviously take children's medicines with us just in case. We're driving their so we'll have some things to keep them entertained in the car. It's difficult planning for such a multi-faceted vacation -car trip, hotel stay, cruise, and shore excursions. We've been on a cruise before, but never with kids. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Security travel USA - "FREE CRUISE"? Hi, I just received a call from one of the travel specialists from Security travel USA saying that I won a "free cruise" to Bahamas for 3 nights and 4 days. The funny thing is that it's supposed to be free, well, they told me I have to pay $87.50 for me and another 87.50 for my partner, plus hotel fees, port fees, food, and $99 for me and $99 for the other person I'm taking when I choose the date. It sounds really suspiciuos to me. Doesn't it? Also, I checked the prices with Royal Caribbean and Carnival for a 3 night cruise and they are as low as $129.00! has anyone heard anything about this 'free cruise' thing? all answers will be appreciated! why do these people tell you you've won something free when you are paying the same price as if you were going on regular vacation? it's not free at all!!!!
Security Travel, Free Bahamas cruise... Is it true?? Okay, I dropped my name and number in one of those "you could win..." boxes somewhere... About two weeks later I got a phone call that I won a cruise- for myself and a friend, for 4 days, 3 night stay in the bahamas. Of course I was skeptical. I checked out the website (http://www.securitytravel.com), and called to speak with a travel agent... Then decided to take the plunge. There are a few fees- an administration fee of $87.50 per person, then there are port taxes (since you aren't taxed in the Bahamas), and hotel tax, which I was assured would be around $15. Then, when you set the date you want to go, you pay another $99. So, overall, for about $250, give or take, you get a cruise to the bahamas, hotel stay for 3 days, and a cruise back to the US... I paid the administration fee for myself, now my friend just has to pay.. and then we pick a date to go. Has anyone else done this, or had this work out, or NOT work out?? Please tell me your experience!!! Thanks...
