Where can I purchase good, cheap travel insurance?

I'm a student, hence the cheap part, headed to Asia for at least a few months and need travel insurance. STA is a little pricier than I expected, can anyone reccomend what (or what not) to look at?

1. you could purchase travel insurance on multiple travel sites. but i prefer www.ytb.com/yonne41 but that's just me u might chose expedia or travelocity. The less money$$ you spend the better. lol hope i was of some help =D
2. STA is a good start. You also might want to check http://www.quotewright.com, it's a travel insurance comparison site that quotes the major travel insurance plans. If you're not looking for a plan that will include trip cancellation coverage than you should be able to find an inexpensive plan.
