How long should it take an airline to refund a ticket?
I have bought an airline ticket and had to return it later. According to the fare terms I am entitled to a refund minus a cancellation fee of 50Euros. It's been more than 5 weeks since I returned the ticket but the airline still hasn't paid the refund back to my credit card. They say they need time to process it. Is there a law/regulation that sets maximum timing for refunds? Where can I find it? Many thanks,

- there is no exact time limit, they can take their time as much as they want.
- How long SHOULD it take? No more then 2 weeks. How long DOES it ACTUALLY take? Somewhere between 2 weeks and 1 month most likely.
